She started her career as a Practical Nurse and completed 6 years of Experience in PIMS (Pondicherry Institute of Medical Science- Kalapet) and also completed 6 years of Working in KIMS( Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Medical Science )- in Kanchipuram.

Possessing an Experience of more than 12 Years as Nursing Head, she met lot of enthusiastic students from weaker section of the society who needs proper guidance and outlet to flourish their knowledge. This inspiration is also one of the main reason to start LAPMI.

A very interesting story about this lady is that - Once she was standing near the BUS-STOP, a Pregnant women who was waiting for the Bus got Labour Pain, and this Lady , in fraction of seconds rendered the Nursing care and services along with other layman ladies around them helped the pregnant women to give birth a cute Baby girl in the Bus Stop itself.

An Ovation from the Public and also appreciation from the media poured on and completed that Day for her.

To conclude this interesting story with a tail piece information that the Baby is named as "VIJAYALAKSHMI" as a remarkable memory.

She also received "MARUTHUVA SEVAI SEMMAL AWARD" for the year 2014.
